100-Day Challenge - Accelerated Moving Events

As part of our 100-Day Challenge to address unsheltered homelessness in Suburban Cook County,  the Village of Oak Park, the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County, along with several other agencies and experts across Suburban Cook County, will be hosting three events to connect landlords with available units to households actively seeking housing.

The goal is to house 88 people experiencing homelessness, with a focus on individuals aged 55 and older. These events will expedite the housing search process and provide landlords with information on the benefits of partnership, including filling vacant units, ongoing rental assistance, wraparound services and dedicated staff committed to keeping individuals securely housed, as well as providing a place for a person experiencing homelessness to call home.
