Thank You for Attending Last Week's Oak Park Homelessness Coalition Meeting

Thank you to everyone who joined today’s coalition meeting! We welcomed new and returning members and shared key updates, including; Housing Forward updates and progress on their shelter space, workgroup updates and a presentation on food access challenges for unhoused people in Illinois. The research shows that food insecurity is about more than just food. It also involves dignity, autonomy, and systemic barriers. The report offers 10 policy ideas to help address these issues.
